I arrived in Bend under melting snow. Big storm and cold, almost freezing air. Tonight I recuperate at the Motel West.

The day started nicely. I arrived at the storage place after 75 minutes of Tramway. Nice chat with the guys. The Goldwing cracked just fine and the first part of the road, winding through vineyards and Xmas Tree farms, is an amazing motorcycle road. After Salem, begins the steep mountains. A good stop in Detroit-OR with a nice pull pork sandwich and gas in an old station.

7 Motel West

Arrivé à Bed sous la neige fondue. Orage et froid, presque gelé. Ce soir je récupère au Motel West.

La journée avait bien commencé. 1h15 de tramway, un bon échange avec les gars. La Goldwing a démarré sans problème. La première partie de la route, sinueuse à souhaits entre vignobles et fermes de sapins de Noël est parfaite pour la moto. Après Salem, c'est la montagne. Un arrêt à Detroit (Oregon) pour un plein dans une station antique et un superbe sandwich au porc effiloché.
